Live Free

When we were young
there was never a song that hadn't been sung.
Living in the free world
all the boys and girls
in our little town
without a sound.

The walls are talking
telling us to be free
you and me.
Up and down
in every which way
looking for a brighter day.

All this suspense
just doesn't make sense, anymore
like it did before the storm.
During the flood
I lost all my love
and my letter to my unborn.

The walls are talking
telling us to live free
you and me.
Up and down
in every which way
looking for a brighter day.

There are things I can't say
cause there not songs
the songbird wanted me to play.
Only the good die young
and only the curious get stung.

The walls are talking
telling us to be free
you and me.
Up and down
in every which way
looking for a brighter day.

The fuel pump doesn't work
this is were the creatures leark
I'm always loving it
should I trust the government.

We're on our way
with not enough pay
it's better to burn out
then to fade away.

The walls are talking
telling us to live free
you and me.
Up and down
every which way
looking for a brighter day.

It's a struggle
living alone in this puzzle.
Looking for gold
in the cold
is getting old.
Break away
leave your chains
use you brains
be free
like me.

The walls are talking
telling us to love free
you and me.
Up and down
every which way
looking for a brighter day.
