Live and Let Live
When I was young and life was new
A wonderful new life was ahead
A life filled with exciting new adventures
Thrilling new experiences lay just ahead
On a dayly basis I was in awe
At what this old world had in store
I still have this wonder
Although a little less enthralled with life
When learning of the negative side
Of the human condition
I still possess that early enthusiasm
But a little less enthusiastic
When learning how there's a positive
AND a negative side to the human condition
That have evil and negative opinions
For personal gain and wealth
Oh well c'est la vie we are all unique
With different attitudes and goals
Live and let live I say
