Watching the television from my bed,
newsreader's 'Ayubowan' winding up the day
I sink into the pillows, waking up the springs
under closed eyes - because I know I can't.
P.S.: Fictional.

Additional: 'Ayubowan' is the traditional greeting in Sri Lanka (used by Sinhalese). It means, "May you live long"
