Live a Little Before You Leave
I die a little every day I live
By the days I'm given chances to achieve
Before my chances run out and it's my time to leave
Live a little before you leave!
I know, living can hurt
Living can kick you to the dirt
Living has left me burnt
And it's not the first, second or third
It will keep on reoccurring
Really, living is the worst!
Think about the years you weren't here before
Think about the years you'll have before you're gone
Don't think about why you were born
Think this is where you belong
Think this is your painting to draw
Think what can possibly go wrong
Don't think, just live along
Love, laugh, cry and weep
Sing, dance, reach the peaks
Screw your pride, be weak
Be special, be unique
Stay awake, don't sleep
A moment, that's all there is
Take it, don't be a sheep
Fly, spread your wings
Reign, be a king
Your story now begins
Enjoy it with its losses and wins
With its virtues and sins
Its frowns and grins
People and things
And Loving
