Little White Lies

Broken promise after broken promise Chance after chance Seems like we always do the same dance When you slammed the door My heart hit the floor I ran to your car On my knees I begged you not to leave You made it clear I’ll never be who you need Backing out of the driveway I watched my world slip away Now I’m lying here in bed Going crazy in my head Checking texts to see if they been read Wishing I could take back every tear you’ve shed I don’t have to ask myself why It was all because of my little white lies
