Little Things We Do
There was a time you gave a little help to a lost stranger
By giving him the right direction where to go
One ordinary day a year ago you gave a coin to a beggar
It’s an unpayable help you just don’t know
The smile you replied to the girl’s grumpy face on the market
The sweet hello you said to the lady you just met
The kiss you gave to your granny’s crinkled cheeks
Are the silent, little gestures of love and kindness
The quiet prayer you uttered for only friend
The goodnight kiss for your parents before you sleeps
The sorry you said because someone was offend
Are the good things you’ve done that some people needs
The funny joke you tried just to let someone laugh
The advice you gave to your troubled half
By letting him borrowed your favorite pen
You shared life and take away the pain
We sometimes don’t see those little things we do
That affects others in good way and yet we don’t know
The world needs it every day lets continue to do so
Let’s create a happy, positive earth for me and you.
