Little Things Not Big Things
It's not always the big things that make the world
a much colder place
But the little things
every day we face.
As the world groans
and dreadful things happen
as we see on TV
It's clear people have changed
and things are not
how they used to be.
Many People are out of control
all morals and care for others
seems to have gone
people tend to do what they want
and no longer sing the same song.
It's true today
many of us lead stressful lives#
and for many it's dog eat dog
to survive.
Obsessed with our electronic devices
we find escapism and lose ourself
in games and cyberspace
technology can be useful
but lost in our little worlds
and troubles
we have lost the personal contact
so important to the human race.
Many things are out of our control
the greedy rich get richer
and the poor get more poor
there are those who seek peace
and those who want war
Love and understanding
doesn't seem to count no more
We have lost our way
Turned our backs on faith
We are living in desperate
days.
The problem is everyone thinks differently
we are not all the same
If only we did think the same
for good and better
and had love for each other
could we ever make a change.
The Devil cracks the whip
and has the whole world in his grasp
I pray for the world
that salvation will come fast.
What we see happening in the world today
was foretold long ago
So many are blinded by Satan
or don't want to know.
The great book will deliver the truth
Just look around you
open your eyes and see the proof.
