Little Things

Eternal life is little spoken of
It can't be true
But maybe it's just me
Because I think I can live forever

I can be on this planet
We call Earth
Until everyone is smashed
Into all oblivion

I will be there
With the future
Through it all
Never leaving the one's I love

They may not see me
But those who know me
Will know that I
Am always there

No matter where they are
Or what they are doing
I will come
When my name is spoken

I will watch over them
And when they too
Pass from the living sight
I will welcome them

And we will live
In this world
Unseen
To all
But
Those who look closely...
For the little unseen things
That truly matter
