I was the moonchild, eclipsing in the night You were the sunshine that filled earth's days so bright Through space, we fly, the years zoom by Our childhood dreams and fun-filled schemes Echo by the sea, our voices, you and me My little flower sister, you blossomed in the sun Our camping trips, gymnastic flips, oh! We had so much fun Little sister Sunshine, my blossom of the sea I treasure our sweet moments, you're my precious Chelserie! To my baby sister, whom I love so much <3 ~ BJ ~

Thank you for your sweet comment Jennifer, again, I must apologize for being adrift at sea (so to speak) for the entire summer and not responding earlier! Yes, this was in some of my photos that I had been sorting through, it was a treasure to remember childhood. Thank you for your visit and sweet comment <3

I have four sisters, and love them all, but was closer to three of them. My little sister was my sunshine, another my poet mentor, another was my Little Mama, she was so nurturing to me <3 Sisters can be such blessings, you obviously know <3 :) ~BJ

Thank you, Harry, I appreciate your visit and encouraging comment. My baby sister was a precious blessing to me. I was nearly seven years younger than my 'lil mama' (my nickname for, my older sister who is like an angel on earth), and nine younger than my other dear sister. I was the sixth in the family at birth, my cousin lived with us till he was five. He moved away when his dad remarried and suddenly I became the fifth child. I felt so lost without him, and never really got over that. I prayed for a baby sister, and God answered that prayer with my Sunshine <3 :) ~BJ

Oh my this is SO precious. Wish I'd had such a loving big brother to call on. My stepbrother was marvelous but he died young and left us all brokenhearted. I have a question for you in soupmail.

Thank you, Sara, yes, she was my closest in age sibling beside my cousin (he was like a brother to me), who moved from our home with his dad before my little sister was born. She was my living baby doll, four years my younger. She always simply glowed with joy, and even as an adult, she is still a glowy, happy lady. Thank you for your visit and kind comment to me :) I love visiting your poems!
