Little Sam

You've felt the love of our mother's womb - sleeping to the lullabies of our father. Oh big brother, how cruel has fate been to deny me the pleasure of meeting you. I exist because you didn't, therefore, I promise to live the life you couldn't.

I've been poem struck flat out before due to various topics and an emotive pen but never from this topic. I don't recall ever coming across a poem expressing this particular loss. With brevity you delivered tons of deep packed, held fast emotion. I also commented on your 1st post. CayCay

Thank you for your kind words, CayCay. It is indeed difficult to mourn someone you never even got the pleasure to meet in the first place. Really difficult write for me as well :)
