Little Pains

LITTLE PAINS

At point of striding forth

A red slash!

From nowhere

Unprepared by dissolution

What wasn’t is suddenly thrust in from nowhere

Think addition

What wasn’t now added to the pixie brotherhood

Yet knowing their traveling propensities

Their being before long elsewhere gone

One strides on

Just little pains

Little old gooses

Little pains urging awareness

Those little pains seem to become more conspicuous as we get older. They appear out of nowhere and even take us experienced travelers unawares. ~ Al the best, my friend. // paul

Walking to the supermart, hanging on to the shopping cart - my balance is awful - feeling good about myself, this sudden sharp pain, saying, "So you think you can avoid me, well, take that you old fart!" Thanks, Paul. Love, daver

I'm strolling toward the supermart, hanging onto my shopping cart, feeling safe and comfortable, when it says, "Take this old fart!" Thanks, dear. Love, daver
