Little Orphan Girl

little orphan girl
wandering the streets
after being thrown out of a group home

little orphan girl
trying to figure it out
without the skills to do it

little orphan girl
dressed in a woman’s body
no help coming because of that gown.

Thank you Elizabeth. I see the child in so many, even the ones who were not thrown out of a home.
