Little Mary Sorrow

Mary sits by a window crying hoping for something to change she has learned that she is dying and that nothing is the same Mary wipes away her last shed tear she thinks of a phrase held dear "There is nothing to fear when God is near" Mary knows she is going home a place away from hate the glory road she'll roam up to the pearly gate Mary gives a smile a smile that is true and that hasn't been seen for a while she says, "Lord, I'm coming home to you."
