Notes About The Poem

Little Hands - 1

Little hands lifted to the Lord Praying and praising Letting God know He’s adored Little hands raised to God Hoping for a answer To prayers that applaud Little hands lifted up to the Lord Sharing heart and soul With the One who has restored Little hands raised in faith Reaching toward the heavens Listening to what God saith Little hands lifted to the Lord Yearning for answers To prayers filled with love of one accord Little hands raised in trust Knowing God will listen To a prayer that is truly just Little hands lifted to the Lord Sure that God will answer Solve the questions others have ignored Little hands raised in praise Thanking the God who created us For giving us everything which does amaze

The young ones guided by their parents like to listen to us and take the love for God and Jesus to heart. It is when they start university that questions are asked and doubts instilled. When I chose Biblical studies as one of my majors, there were essays skepticism as opposed to a Dogmatic view.. Take care, great write, blessings and hugs, Jennifer. I studied Biblical Studies and not Theology as I had no intention of becoming a priestess. Blessings and hugs, Jennifer

Faith comes so naturally to children, Regina. I love these "little hands" clasped in prayer. If I had a young child, this is the kind of nursery rhyme I would choose. Excellent writing, Hon! Best wishes for a win. Hugs, Carolyn
