Little Girl On The Inside
I will always carry my past with me, no matter the healing or growth I’ve put in; I will always carry that little girl inside.
That little girl who was always terrified, alone, and with anxiety eating her alive on the inside.
That little girl is usually quiet, but sometimes she stirs, awakened by memories.
But she remembers she can’t be hurt by those monsters who once haunted her day and night.
How she has grown and learned, healed, and forgave.
Panic will come and go.
But she will only become stronger with every passing day.
