Little Girl As Mirror Oracle

The comment of a girl younger than four
      is truer than any Delphic oracle;

To try to change it in your favor requires
      no less than a medieval miracle;

For hers is the honest opinion of a
      trustworthy mirror on the wall;

Though you befriend her with chocolate
     bars, toys and a marshmallow ball,

She sticks to her verdict and points at
     your wrinkles, warts and all !
