LITTLE GIRL

There it was
Like a tsunami
Moving in on a day
At the beach
Just like that
The old life
GONE
And all that remains
Are shadows

I mean, I had suspected
I even entertained
But those words
Passed like a ghost
At the foot of the bed
Awaiting for the ONE
Who had the ability to see
Acknowledge
And release

Like a yoke
My spirit carried
The question and the answer
The weight assigned
It wasn't based in strength
Capacity by creation
Generations of ab use
Now at the end
The cycle is complete

...and REVELATION has brought RESTORATION
