Little Death In Zen
Extending thought through time
pushing past frayed veils
steeling in a back
frightful were some days
Days of loss and grief
peal apart to show
breaking in the meaning
as I’m about to flow
The beating of a heart
dies in little deaths
memories from the past
breaking through my chest
Breathing in the eddy’s
soaking in the floods
floating to a paradise
blood begins to thud
Passing by of years
causing time to freeze
thoughts die a lonely death
spirit floats the breeze
Gliding through the space
between the here,and the then
all shall be forgotten
as I’m drifting in the zen
