Little Boy

Little boy come blow your horn
Of life and the freedom of destiny.
Cherish the beauty of innocence.
The beauty of unconditional love
Of all that is around you.

Little boy run and skip through your
World chasing butterflies and magical
Things that steal your heart and spirit.
Smile at the flowers and they smile
Back from your caress and tenderness.

Little boy blue run far through the
Clover chasing the wind with
Outstretched arms, running away
Toward tomorrow and hope of
Fantasy and light in your heart.

Come back little boy, you run to
Far today....where are you?
Come back little boy, I need you
And your innocence. Come back
to my arms little boy.

You Are Me!

Interesting, Mark. : ) Oh yeah - how to recoup lost innocence? Somewhat related - I've long thought that it would be cool to be able to go back in time and talk to myself at a much younger age. At least initially I love the idea, but then I wonder if the younger me would believe it, if he'd tell me to piss off, or if the fact that some knowledge did get passed along altered some necessary learning process, leaving me worse off in the end. To say nothing of the dread time paradoxes....
