Little Bird First Flight

Little bird in the nest,
had to fly, had to test.

Feathers all grown,
has to make it all alone.

Wings spread out,
he knows what it's about.

Sours through the sky,
so very high.

Little bird first flight,
and now he's out of sight.

This is a lovely rhyme. Isn't something how quickly they gain their wing. Thank you for your thoughtful comment and sharing this. Love, Robin

A little while back my daughter came running in with a little finch that had fell from its nest - it didn't even have a single feather yet - We fed it canned dog food and it has grown from a little bald thing into a bird - For some reason its tail feathers won't grow we fear it was injured during the fall - But of no matter it has a home here with us - God Bless James
