Listening For Why

Sometimes,
 all I do
is pause, watch, see, listen, hear, feel, taste, touch and wonder.
Pausing to listen as the wind dances through the trees
watching
the clouds change from white to darkening grays
seeing
the sun moves from east to west
hearing
birdsong echo as they fly in then away
feeling
the chill that rides upon each breezy wave
shivering
as the weather reforms from warm to cold
tasting
the first fall of snowflakes on the air
touching
the very breath of God that swirls around me
wondering
 why life is.

Hello DM Babbit, you created a poem of pondering, why it is the way it is. Enjoyed it. Have a nice day my friend.
