Listen To An Addict
On the hunt, for her next bump.
Yes she already knew.
Its all wrong but the feeling is more than she can describe to you.
Her emotions are up and down at all times.
She's higher than the clouds.
Her pain is gone her life she thinks she can handle now.
While your at home cursing her name because she did it Again.
Instead of screaming and yelling out loud. Take time to really listen.
In her head you all think she's crazy.
She feels alone, again she self medicates.
She looks at herself deep in the mirror.
Trying to find what's never been clear.
Who is she now? What happened to her?
No one seems to have the correct answers.
She wonders why
late at night,
her family turned their backs.
When She needed them most they werent there.
Drugs filled in those cracks.
She's high on dope bcause she just can't cope.
Something definately went down.
To make such a beautiful soul get lost in a demons hell.
All she needs is one person to see
She can't do this on her own.
Take time to listen. Don't judge. Be kind.
Words will push her away.
Open your heart and not your mouth.
Putting heads together you can figure it all out.
Don't be ashamed of what she's done.
Its a chapter in your book too. A life lesson you have just begun.
