Listen Only To Your-You

The door to the dark room
I hear it, I watch it, I see it move

It opens, it beckons, it plays my fool
It haunts me, it taunts me, I know what's in that room!

Temptation, frustration, I sense my doom
Awaits me, will take me if I move to soon

Fight fear, fight tears, stand strong, don't even move
Don't venture, stay centred, listen only to your-you

Walk away, find a way, don't listen to your fool
See you, be you, you're stronger than your fool
Move away, don't stray
Through the door to the dark room

Powerful! I can identify with experiencing fear you write about.
