Listen Not

Listen not to their blind opinions.
They say we're acting just like fools.
But, as we stand upon the stage we call life;
truly, we make all of the rules.
The lives we lead, they are just that,
our lives, our dreams, our hopes and fears.
They'll keep saying the things they say.
Let them talk, but let us not hear.
