Listen, My Son

Listen, My Son
Steve L. Siegel

~:~
My son, don’t tell me that you’re not important!
That is simply wrong and not ever going to be true
The fact that you even was born
Should give you proof that God has plans for you.
~:~
The pathway may seem unclear to you right now
But one day, soon I hope, you’ll see
That God has plans for you all along
And you were truly meant be part of this life.
~:~
God has already written the book that is your life
That is the thing you need to know my son
Each and every day that you are living
This book was written for you a long time ago.
~:~
Oh my son, know that God does not write duds
He only writes the best sellers
So be proud of what and who you are
Because in Gods book you are the star.
~:~
I know that, so does God!
If you need help don’t feel lost
You can call either one of us
And we’ll be there help you out.
~:~

Steven, this is such a wonderful piece addressed to your beloved son that shows the importance of expressing our love to those who mean so much to us. Many times we fail simply because we didn't utter those simple words that are so powerful and can make the difference in the lives of our loved ones! Well done, my friend. It's a 7! Warmest regards. My men's group talked about us men not saying those three little words because we might make them feel we are not strong men, that is why I wrote it for him. Thank you
