Listen, I Was Lonely

Listen, I was lonely
Thought you understood
Said I want to keep it simple
Told me that you could
Just a sexual distraction
Two souls in need of touch
Some light within the darkness
Be good for both us us
We satisfied the hunger
As our bodies intertwined
Your skin all damp and salty
Your swollen lips on mine
This was never serious
Just a primal, carnal need
To fill the ache, the loneliness
To quench the thirsty seed
Never meant to hurt you
Or make you fall apart
You knew of my intentions
That you didn't have my heart
Now I need to walk away
Have to set you free
Listen , I was lonely
There is no you and me
