Listen

“Be still. Be still.
Listen for what is real.”

Alleviate congestion
of tomorrows
what will be
for what is held
in future tense
you’re not allowed
to see

“Be still. Be still.
Listen for what is real.”

Release the loads
of yesterday
for they are passed away
Here and now
in this today
allow what’s real
to stay

“Be still. Be still.
Listen for what is real.”

I feel God carrying your load in this piece Debra. Peace be still and know that I am God. That's a passage that rings throughout your poem. Love your Godly grace. Peace. :)

Wonderful, this is simply a wonderful write my friend! I have been away for a long time, school has kept me very busy! But I'll be around for these couple days before school starts again! To bring some Halloween cheer! I really enjoyed reading this incredible poem here this morning! You have brought a smile with this grandiose piece! What a fantastic write! Great Work!!
