Listen
Screaming loudly
Echoes faint and distant
Hear the cries
Listen to the suffering
Watch carefully
Do not ignore
Do not pretend
You could have stopped it
but you never did.
The whispers so dim
The cry for help so hidden
You have to look for it
Find it yourself
Just listen
Put away all your notions
Search high and low
Everywhere that you go
And when you get there...
Never let go.
