Listen

My body knew I’d stopped loving you before my head and heart
You see the head sees logic and the heart love.
But the body, well, the body feels.
Love can be blind and your head overthinking.
But feeling is energy and yours is deadly. Deadly silence and deadly actions.
My body knows how to protect and it’s telling me to
stay away
from you.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
