List

My list
consists
of what to do next.
Yet I can't bring myself
to know where to start.
Priorities
above the heart.
Hmmm..

My list
consists
of what to do next,
With all due respect,
I'm doing my best.
I don't know
which to do first.
Me, Us, or You.
Take a deep breath
and take off my shoes.

My list
consists
of all my desires.
Yet some I can't see
on here, they've expired.
It's like teaching me to hike
when I want to fly.
Yet you have to climb up
to touch the sky.

My list
consists
of super powers
looking passed these
I can see that I'm nuts.
Or maybe I dream big
that ain't no fuss.
I think I can do this..
No, I must.

My list
consists
of dreams I can't miss
I long for the freedom
prosperity brings.
Teach me to be
Teach me to see
Teach me to be mindful
of my thoughts and beliefs.

My list
is forever
All I want to do and learn.
My life is never boring
When I always yearn.
Hey, it's a good day,
"Don't worry"
They say.
We come in the voices
you trust most
in your head.

I laugh
at my noises,
distractions, reactions.
I laugh
because everything I do
I do with passion.

Invested in me
I'm so open to see.
Where I am standing
Is exactly where
I'm supposed to be.

And please do not mistake,
I love where I am.
On the days that feel harder,
I throw a tantrum and weep.
And then I get up
I brush myself off,
I laugh and I joke
"I'm better off".
I don't see this as wrong
I see it as growth.
I see now each moment
an opportunity
to focus on what I want.

I myself, enjoy reading and commenting those who want to be read. The only time I give constructive criticism is when a poet desires it.
