Liquid Pain

Broken clouds.
Soiled shrouds.
They lie beneath.
As I grit my teeth.
I'm above all I thought.
Look at what my liquid pain has brought.
Playfully grasping at any attention.
Good or bad. Just any affection.
But I'm ignored again.
Forced to go to back then.
Where I cried myself to sleep.
Fallen into my coma, oh so deep.
Shredded shrouds.
Gray and hovering clouds.
I lie underneath.
As the pain crushes my teeth.
Look at what my solidified ignorance brought.
Is this what I thought I should have sought?
I stood my ground, to gain attention.
But I recieved the wrong affection.
Things were never easier, even back then.
They still bring my liquid pain, again and again.
So, I bleed myself to sleep.
Let my body fall too deep.
