Lion's Paw

In a forest clearing, a doe worried and wary, looks up to the noon sky; peers through the bushes, sniffs at the east wind, listens to swaying leaves ... it's still safe. Nearby, her nimble fawn fumbles and stumbles on a grassy, mossy mound, playfully leaps around, circles, dances on and on, jumps over a rotting ... paw of a lion !!
