lingering imprint

my imprint in life
eighty percent water
white pale freckled skin
pink lips
green eyes
two legs
two arms
my dna passed on to my children
creating an imprint

I like the hint of generations of the family face, the imprint. Then there's the intangibles - in my family it's the inability to resist a pun that has been passed down - a pun-print :-)
