Lingering

Determination made it happen
 brilliantly, happiness rules
 sadness, smiles replace
 frowns, and logic controls
 jealousy.

 Peace again within the soul,
 forget heart's foolish desire
 lingering wondrously, in the
 solitude of your mind.

 Romance can be held close in
 heart, people never meet to
 love, words pour blissfully 
 adorned with admiration and
 passion, eyes meet one more
 time.

 Loneliness is only a state
 of mind, a friend it needs not
 don't except it, unless that is
 what you want within your
 peaceful serenade.

 Mind conditioning control 
 ways of thinking, lights low
 setting the mood, for loves
 sweet embrace. lingering among
 your temptations, of fate and
 dangerous desires.


 (Caution is the key for sad expressions))

Silent One March 13, 2018 at 6:46 AM you can be alone, but not feel lonely, you are right it is a state of mind.. sometimes some people prefer to be alone... there are many ways to combat feeling lonely, but some find it difficult.. love your thought provoking poems..
