Lines
The lines of a poem
often slow, yet fast;
the lines of a poem
bring back memories past;
the lines of a poem
so delicate and light;
the lines of a poem
bring lovers sheer delight;
the lines of a poem
with both wax and wane;
the lines of a poem
to the poet - are perfectly sane.
Poems are meant to be read,
but imaginations are meant to be fed.
