Linear Peace

Within the pages white as snow
and between the lines as black as coal,
to all the places You have sowed,
Oh Lord, let me abide within the line.

Within the turning page we see.
Alight, aflame in harmony.
And friends or foes do go in mystery.
Oh Lord, let me abide within the line.

Let me alight in peace with Thee and Poe,
with Kipling’s tales in Just So
with Moses staff and Joseph’s sign
Oh Lord, let me abide within the line.

This one is quite unique, Deb. A kyrielle too. I like you writing in forms like this. Love how you kept reworking Moonbow till you made it metered. glad you liked This Night. Did you know Shakespere did all his sonnets like that, with no breaks? Many of today's sonnets, I've seen done that way! I often break mine but once in a while leave them with no breaks. Depends on the topic. Well,it was enjoyable reading all your lovely poems and now I gotta get to typing up my new one. LUv, Andrea

PERFECTION! Love it. I makes me almost want to rework my first Iambic Pentameters...almost. SMILES. This is beautiful. Great content and I like the kirelle form, too.
