Lineage of Fire

forging
noble timeless art
brute strength and skill
reverence for the forces of fire
innate passion for working metal
precious knowledge passed down the ages
honoring with pride millennia of blacksmith ancestry

Beautiful! Forging is an art that must be preserved. I've watched them work at a few historical parks and it's incredible.

How wonderful. I love the show FORGED IN FIRE - the history behind it, the martial arts element, the whole hands-on approach of forging.

Ugh, Gershon beat me to it--he must 've been a Smitty's boy--though you left no room for error of your rendered outline of a forger/smitty Line, Aloha wk

Written with the same steely strength that's characteristic of its subject: Style and substance blend seamlessly. Beautifully done, Line. Warmest wishes, Gershon

Says much, and I agree with the sentiment, the history of knowledge is a 'feel' if but ponder it. Poetry hugs ... CayCay
