Line Up Oddballs
Line up weirdos in my mind -
every freak and Frankensteind -
you, duck-billed platypeau,
my aquatic portmanteau,
each hominid and hippogrift
in the East African Valley Rift,
bugged-eyed beasts, all wall-mounted -
oddballs in my head, be counted.
