Limerence

hungry lips kissing petrichor of fur soft hand touches the rain in me the earth melts the azure sky looks up to face vermilion red and green blades of grass smells lovers' moonbeams filtered through a glass window willow shoot slender I see her in a kiosk cheeks red a first blush makes a pigeon fly from dark alley of the shop to lodge on my heart Contest Sponsored by: Nayda Ivette Negron Theme: Limerence Poet: RAJAT KANTI CHAKRABARTY 18/07/2016

Love the imagery, Rajat. and good luck in the contest. You might want to take your name of the contest they are not allowing us to put names in the contest poems so they can judge blind.

You really got across the "feel" of that word, Rajat. Everyone that sees MY Limerence poem keeps asking what limerence means. Good grief!!
