Silent one sponsored
he would have known or suspected
that smooth beauty he kissed so often,
had a different side that he did not reach,
scales that glistened in the darkest of nights,
under the lights of distant stars and galaxies,
her smile had fangs when he did not see,
and her innocence was lethal when she kissed,
and her eyes could role to be pure white bobs,
when she was brewing her cunning schemes.
pink tongue in love, but forked in conscience,
He would have known or suspected that
she was an extension of Lucifer,
a damsel to trap the unwary and feed
them to the devil who waited in the shadows.
Adam and Lilith parted and why? we do not know,
but Adam was destined to be with Eve,
to be tempted and carry the sins of mankind,
and to create history that we know…
But Lilith is still around and
may appear as a man or a woman,
you may meet Lilith in your life,
you may know or suspect like Adam,
but you will never know for sure….
when you are in love you may not see
the fangs behind a smile, that are polished
by a forked tongue.
