Lilac Coaxes Summer
Lilac bush came to life today
It’s nowhere near the month of May
Delicate buds a passion play
Perfect purple on this fair
Succulent fragrance from the fey
Wafting from this merry nosegay
April dance a pretty sashay
Coaxing summer along the way
