Lilac

Sweet scented flowers
budding on the lilac trees
tiny purple blossoms
cluster of floral delight
fill the crisp air in springtime.

Mmmm, I can smell the lilac. I used to think that lilac was a 'girl thing' (pardon me, I was only a young boy), but I've since grown up and gotten a grown up job and grown up stresses and aches, and I find that the scent is really soothing and relaxing and calms me down after a hard day.

I am sure that they are delightful..I have never actually seen a real Lilac bush or tree in bloom..That is something that I need to purchase..Enjoyed reading your work work about spring..Sara

Nicely done...we are already enjoying the blossoming of the lilac trees here in deep South Texas, along with a few others. A little more rain would help. I liked this.
