Like Your Father

you look like your father
you look exactly like your father
and i hate your father

why did i even marry him?
i was so stupid to even like him at first
i was so stupid to fall for his good looks
and now i suffer every day i see

and you look exactly like your father.

you are beautiful, like your father
you are quiet, just like your father

...

mom, how you don't hate me?
that i look exactly like my father.
you did throw hate at him so many times
then you say i look exactly like him.
how do you think i take it?
how do you think i take it?
how you don't hate me too?

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
