Such beautiful imagery, Gert. I hope your hand and arm are feeling much better. Glad you liked the poem and thanks so much for translating it. Gert, I was telling Jack how much your poems are helping me learn Spanish. I may never learn to speak it, but thanks to you, I am definitely learning to understand more of it when written. Your poem reminds me of a play I was in as a teen, "Of Poems, Youth and Spring." Beautifully written. Please let me know when you post the tanka you are working on for the collaboration.
