Like Me

Failure- Never winning the race, A grimace in time; Takes over my mind, drowns me- deeper, deep, like cement shoes success is tarnished; tainted- rusted like old gold golden- like dreams in clouds the white is broken breaking- tears of defeat; drown me further in this puddle- a puddle of muddied hope non-existant gone, vanished, is that success like childhood candy, never stolen from THAT baby, maybe baby, you will grow up, and be a failure, a failure like me.

I do not think you are a failure. Is anyone really a failure? Think of what good you have done; there's always something. Your soul is perfect--you just have to let its light shine upon the broken mind. Best wishes, Sara
