Like Heaven

Like Heaven By Kevin Robey July 1, 2014 Even if I wanted you back I wouldn't know where to look And if I could relive the past I'd never give back what I took So turn to black my silver lining Plant your seeds into my pores Make me feel the wounds she's hiding Can't relive the time lost in war She speaks in ways you never could Don't wonder why, you know I tried Said all the words you thought I should Burned my tongue like a thousand lies Don't love you And I never will Won't hide again behind your lies Can't stand to know I was your kill The shame I hid from prying eyes I held you close like you were heaven 'Cause they approved; I looked like you do And my new skin still smells like sin But she has eyes they'll never see through You'll see me holding her hand Don't really care if you understand You'll finally see me smile So hold your breath Come stay awhile [Listening to "Got a Call" by Land of Talk]
