Like Fluid Tears Ebbing

Kohl is nightfall when bright hours decrease Etching the silhouette of trees ; Beneath drooped willows, grief ‘s ache unravels A mourning in fallow shade Twisted as petals, cold: How endings throb again again Without his blossoms for our sky; That gushing out into soft rain Lamentation is my reply . Murmurs of branches Deepen a caressing tune, Allaying eve’s wail Still, crystal leaves pour on grounds Misty like fluid tears… ebbing. 4/21/2018 Broken Wings’ Contest: It’s All About Four

amazing how you fit the lines all together to make it flow as if it were a free verse and not a combination of the four forms we were given to use. Splendid imagery.
