Like Drifting Floes
Recurring dreams, tide comes and goes
Borne on the waves of ocean's flows,
Never ending streams abounding
Against sands crash forth resounding
The moon rocks the sea to and fro.
From whence they arrive no one knows
In deepest sleep like drifting floes
Come to enchant, oft confounding,
Recurring dreams.
Mystical tales vast ocean grows
Sleep harbors stories, deep echoes
Sometimes credibly astounding,
Like many visions compounding
While in my sleep I do propose
Recurring dreams.
