The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Like Dried Ash For a New World

I know they can live without me
They think they can't but they can
There are too many items in my life
They will come to be angry with me for them
I am so out of date
Passed my best used by date
targeted by this virus
I suppose
 our time has come
The universe has found a way to get rid of us quickly
It's going to be beautiful here without us
In thier new world
 totally different from ours
The things we loved will mean nothing to them
Things we hated we fought against will be
the combination of cultures
the merging of people who are different
we so stalwartly
so ridiculously
Fought merging
They will celebrate the universal Earth
They will celebrate the universal people
They will not celebrate us
We will be something to apologize for
we will be something that they are sad to remember
Perhaps we will be as horrible as slavery
We love staying to ourselves
keeping with our cultures
 they will celebrate everyone
We are over and this virus may help them make
that happen
I would be sad
except I am excited for them
I am excited for a new world
A new order
these beautiful pure accepting loving people
I am so ready for them to take over this world
Yes they can be lazy because they're smarter than we are
but some of them are incredibly hard-working
My children are
God bless the new nation and if the sacrifice of my life
is what it takes for them to be born anew
If they get to create a brand new world
I accept my fate
They are better than we are
 God bless them
