Like Butterflies

Watching a world that seems
alien, now through his old eyes
He sees them in their beauty
and innocence, running, smiling
As if this was an adventure;
a harmless fantasy of youth
They pass through the gates
of security to a world, without

Like butterflies, he said
flying off to nowhere

Excellent pen David! I enjoyed your piece, the imagery is great, my dear friend. I liked comparing youth to butterflies. A 7 from me! Thanks for visiting my pages. Much appreciated. Have a lovely day! In his light! God bless! :) D."
